Heeding President Joko Widodo’s recent call to slow expansion into forested areas and maximize the use of current palm oil concessions, the Oil Palm Smallholders Union (SPKS) and the Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development (IBCSD), with support from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), are launching the SAWIT Challenge: a competition calling for industries, organizations and individuals, from finance to research and entrepreneurs, to come up with solutions for helping independent smallholder farmers produce sustainable oil palm.
We would appreciate it if you would help us advertise the competition to your networks. Here is sample content that you can use in emails, newsletters and social media, with materials in both Bahasa Indonesia and English. The SAWIT team would be grateful for your help using this content over the next month to ensure we receive a diverse group of quality applicants by the end of July.
Sincerely,
The SAWIT team
